Mr. France, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, has nearly ten years of principal investing and advisory experience. He has performed execution roles in leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, capital raises and portfolio company management across a broad industry group including manufacturing, automotive, financial institutions and coal mining.
From 2004 to 2006, Mr. France was a member of the investment team at Questor Management Company, a private equity firm based in Southfield, Michigan with $1.1 billion of capital focused on turnarounds and special situations. While at Questor, he was responsible for new deal review, transaction execution and strategic projects including add-on acquisitions, cost savings realization, forecast preparation and monthly operating and financial reviews.
From 2001 to 2004, he worked as an investment banker with Donnelly Penman & Partners where he managed multiple aspects of numerous transactions for a lower middle market client base. Prior to joining Donnelly Penman, Mr. France began his career in Detroit with the Corporate Value Consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. France is a 2008 graduate of The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a 2000 graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in finance. He is married with two children.
